Fewer employees are using drugs at work, thanks to an increased awareness of workplace drug testing policies and EMPLOYER CRACKDOWNS.  More businesses than ever before are requiring their employees to undergo drug screening, including the majority of Fortune 100 companies.  Drug users have apparently caught on to the trend, and learned to look elsewhere for employment if they know they cannot pass a drug screen.  This, per the Texas Workforce Commission newsletter Spring 2007 (see page 7).

The Houston Chronicle recently posted a list of the top 25 auto dealerships in Houston. The Cole Group provides their unique services to 11 of the 25 "Major Players."

The Cole Group's client Longo Toyota (the worlds largest auto dealership) recently had a piece in USA Today recognizing their diverse staff and its ability to reach out to the different ethnicities and cultures of Southern California.   The employees of Longo Toyota can feel comfortable in knowing that The Cole Group is there to assist in maintaining their reputation and high level of recognition.

Out of Focus with On-Site Testing.  How accurate are on-site drug testing devices?  On-site test kits, or point of collection testing devices, are often used to conduct a drug test.  These kits test for a variety of substances, including the validity of the specimen.  However, using this method of testing might lead employers to believe they are getting the same analysis as they would using laboratory screening methods to conduct the tests.
